Let’s Get Wellington Moving

Working with the people of Wellington to improve our transport and create a more liveable city.

Why we need to change:

Over the next 30 years, 50,000 to 80,000 more people will call Wellington home. We need to start changing now to fix existing transport problems and support our city’s growing population.

Our projects are developed in partnership with people that live, work and travel through Wellington. Take a look at what we're working on.

Planning is Progress: A World First in Project Preparation

Let’s Get Wellington Moving is a multi-decade, transformational programme of work and, as with any large-scale, city-altering programme, the process is more complex than many of us might imagine.
